Resources
Throughout my undergraduate degree, resources like Khan Academy, NPTEL, and MIT OpenCourseWare were essential to my learning—and the fact that they are free made all the difference.
I want to give back by sharing my own notes and resources. While I don't claim to have anything groundbreaking, I believe in making what I have learned available to anyone who might find it useful. Even if these notes help just a few people, I'll be glad they are out there for anyone who needs them.
Data Science and Machine Learning
I maintain a GitHub repository that contains a wide range of resources, including:
- Detailed digital and handwritten notes on Machine Learning, Probability & Statistics, Databases & SQL, Python, and more.
- A collection of Jupyter Notebooks (concept demos, original explorations, and various solutions).
- Additional references sourced from multiple excellent external resources (see specific notes linked below and the README in the repository for more details).
Quick links to my digital notes on Google Docs:
| Name | Link |
|---|---|
| Machine Learning | View Notes |
| Statistics | View Notes |
| Databases and SQL | View Notes |
| Python | View Notes |
These notes are continuously updated as I learn more. For additional details, including major sources and supplementary materials, please visit the repository's README. If you have any questions, need clarification, or encounter missing links, feel free to contact me anytime!
About Me
I'm a data scientist, though my day-to-day is a bit messier than that label suggests. I work at Revcloud, a lead gen AI startup, on a product called Alyson AI, specifically the Experiments Manager. Some days I'm building frontend and backend or working through system design. Other days I'm deep in ML pipelines and model development. There's also the part where I coordinate a few developers and ML engineers. Startups don't really do tidy job descriptions, and I kind of love that. You do what the product needs.
On the side, I volunteer with Forengers, a Pune-based NGO working on climate change, where I head the Tech Team. That means website upkeep, a growing pile of internal automations (we recently shipped a digital certification system, which I'm pretty happy about), and anything else that needs someone technical to dig in. I also help with central coordination for the Operations Team.
Back in undergrad, I was part of the mechanical design team for our college's BAJA SAE entry, working with SolidWorks, Ansys, free body diagrams, and simulation runs that took forever. We built an ATV from scratch for a national competition. Exhausting, slightly unhinged, and still the best hands-on learning experience I've had.
When I'm not at a computer, I'm usually playing badminton or making mildly embarrassing attempts at wooden staff spinning and (pretend) sword-fighting (don't ask). I'm also a bit of a compulsive note taker, which is how the pile of notes above came to exist. If you're a DS/ML person, maybe they'll help. If not, hopefully they're at least mildly entertaining.
